My professional experience
After a decade of custom PHP development with ecommerce environments, I discovered Magento in 2009. I then self-taught like many peers the following 5 years. I attended several Magento courses and it all started from there.
Magento U Training company empowered me with best practices which enabled me to utilise the platform to its fullest potential.
I became Magento 1 Certified plus in 2015 and Magento 2 Expert Certified in 2022. Practicing for the certification in 2022 with the platform Magento Stack Exchange was a special year where I joined prestigious projects in remote teams: work with talented individuals to build international websites has validated my skills to be able to design efficient solutions and customise both the frontend and the backend areas in Magento systems.
This has enabled me to be part of B2B and B2C projects benefiting from context using PWA features and working with Magento Cloud environments.
Today, I have also added to my arsenal the likes of React, Typescript, Graphql, Service workers, Micro-services to complete my speciality in the IT industry. This transition is to build custom applications working WITH Magento in opposition to working WITHIN Magento. By practicing these changes, I expand the latest skills that I acquired in my recent positions. Working at a high level to help with designing the transformation of existing systems and team methods to build resilient and ambitious solutions: this covers the possibility of helping teams working on headless or composable systems.
I see many shop owners or agencies working to transform their shop and team processes to bring highly performing systems with a low total cost of ownership. My personal journey
Outside of work, I am originally from France and did move in United Kingdom in South Dorset 24 years ago. I love to do sport with my 2 young girls or with friends.
Finally, challenging myself physically is something I am no stranger to. Since I am lucky to live near the sea, I was given the opportunity to learn and train to swim in cold conditions and achieve my biggest sport achievement to date when we crossed the channel as part of a team of 6 – The desperadoes
