Magento has been a core focus of my career for more over a decade, particularly with two significant contracts where I was tasked with optimising the import process. Through these projects, I gained a deep understanding of Magento’s import challenges—issues that often go unnoticed or aren’t treated as high-priority but can significantly impact performance and efficiency.

I’ve have designed and built a proof of concept for a solution aimed at solving key import challenges and empowering a next-generation import tool for Magento.

The primary goal of this project starter is to establish a solid foundation that allows any external source to seamlessly integrate and benefit from the system.

The concept is straightforward: prevent unwanted changes from occurring. This involves ensuring that malformed or unoptimised data does not enter Magento. Additionally, it prioritises critical data, allowing it to reach the Magento system more quickly than it would otherwise, ideally in real-time.
